This Saturday is going to be gorgeous! We are teaming up with Mary and Alan Luckey to reach out to low-propensity Democrats in their precinct and remind them to vote this November. Please join us--this is a great way to make a difference, enjoy the beautiful weather, and get some exercise!

We cannot allow City Hall to fall into the hands of regressive Republicans, with their attacks on equal rights and phony claims of fiscal responsibility. As we've seen from Republicans at the state and federal levels, they only make the financial situation worse. We cannot allow that to happen locally.

Precincts like 316 are some of the best opportunities to run up the Democratic voting totals to make sure that we keep City Hall in the hands of Democrats. Please join us in this fight--bring a friend or family member. Kids are always welcome, too! If you have never block walked before we will provide training and pair you with someone experienced.

Southwest Apartment Outreach & Municipal Candidate Free-For-All

First we will hear from Greg Wythe, Director of the APT PAC. Greg and this newly-formed PAC are focused on increasing Democratic voter turnout from area apartments.

We will then move right into an extended candidate introduction session. Each Democratic municipal candidate is invited to come and speak for the allotted time (determined by the number of candidates in attendance). Please note the qualifier of "Democratic." If you are trying to consider yourself to be an "Independent" or even a "Populist," please don't waste our time or yours. We will be supplying everyone in attendance a "cheat sheet" with each candidate's party affiliation.

Please plan on attending--this will be a chance for all members and guests to help make a decision for whom to cast their ballot in November.

Big thanks to Diana Alexander, candidate for Harris County Commissioner Precinct 3 for being our sponsor for this event!
